Geological Notes
Serpentine forms through hydrothermal alteration of ultramafic rock, producing its characteristic green coloration and waxy surface texture. Variations in tone, mottling, and structural patterning occur naturally based on mineral composition and environmental conditions during formation. The polish highlights subtle transitions in color and mineral density.
